Bivouac Grauson Grauson bivouac, 2540m.
The Grauson gorge, with the Passo d'Ivergneux on its top, in the second part of the path is dominated by the Punta Tersiva, a beautiful pyramid 3512m high, the highest mountain in this part of the Cogne valley.

Legend

From Gimillan, up to the right and among the pastures. The path enters the Grauson gorge and it goes down to the bridge; then, it reaches the Ecloseur's chalets, at 1904m. The path goes up to the Alpe Pila, at 2025m. It continues along a deep narrow valley and it reaches the tableland where the old Alpi Grauson are, at 2271m. After to have bridged the Grauson stream, the path runs along a grassy valley, before reaching a brow of the hill. Before the Alpe Pralognan (2418m), go to the left towards the new Grauson pasture, where the bivouac is situated.
