Herbetet Lodges 2435m. This is one of the most scenic spots of the whole Grand Paradis National Park. The view over Valnontey is great; in fact, you can admire a chain of peaks and glaciers standing up to any comparison with the most famous sceneries of the Alps. The ascent to the Herbetet's lodges gives also the opportunity of knowing the Park's fauna. |

From the parking of Valnontey up to the Erfaulet bridge, 1300m. Across the bridge and then along a path leading to an indicated fork, characterized by many hairpins along rocky jumps and grassy crags. Moreover, northwards to the Herbetet stream.
Bridge the stream, go up to the last slope and then to the Herbetet's pastures, where there is the lodge of the Park. |
