The path starts from the parking of Lillaz, on the left of the Urtier gorge's stream. It runs along rocky jumps where the Lillaz cascades fall down.
After the first step, the path continues almost flat, it comes close to the Gollie's habitations (1854m), to the bridge on the Urtier stream. Then, it goes into the wood to the Bardoney stream's bridge. Without going across the bridge, turn on the right and enter the Bardoney gorge, as far as the plateau where the homonymous pasture is situated. Just before the pasture, the path turns on the right and goes up to the slope leading to a shoulder, whose northern side falls down to the Urtier gorge. Continue along a flat path and, after a coast, the Loye lake is visible, down at 2216m. The path passes on its right and the descent starts in correspondence with the outflowing stream. After a part in the wood, reach the stony ground and then the Loye's pasture, at 2216m. Beside the lodges in ruins, the path goes down to the wood. Where the wood is less dense, there is a fork. Choose the left path towards a little gorge where a small stream flows; bridge it and continue to Lillaz. |
