Vermiana 2392m. The Vermiana valley goes up to the Punta Rossa della Grivola and its paths are among the most isolated of the Cogne valley. Thanks to this isolation, during the walk you can easily meet herds of chamois and steinbocks grazing. |

From the village of Cretaz go across two bridges on the Grand'Eyvia and Valnontey streams. Just follow the easy hairpins of the path going up to the Les Ors' lodges, 1944m. Then, continue towards the sharp step to enter the elevated plain where the Vermiana dessous' pastures are. From here, briefly reach the Vermiana dessus' pastures.
